Interests:
My clinical interests include eating disorders, trauma, identity development, mood symptoms, and the mental health of adolescents, emerging adults, and collegiate athletes. I am especially interested in understanding mental health within the broader context of identity, interpersonal relationships, and systems of belonging. Outside of work, I enjoy running, spending time outdoors, and adventuring with my dog.
Therapeutic Approach:
I approach therapy from a collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed perspective, grounded in cultural humility and an affirming stance toward diverse identities and experiences. I believe that meaningful change begins with a therapeutic relationship in which clients feel genuinely seen and understood. My approach is curious and individualized, seeking to understand the function and context of symptoms. I strive to create a space that is attentive to the ways in which identity, culture, and systems of power shape each person’s experience. While rooted in a relational frame, I integrate evidence-based approaches including DBT, ACT, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapies.
