Quarantine Guidelines

Recommended measures depend on vaccination status or history of COVID-19 in the past 90 days.

Up to date COVID-19 vaccination status means you have completed a primary vaccine series and received and boosted when eligible. This is: > 5 months for mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna), > 2 months J&J, and > 6 months for all other WHO approved vaccines.

No. You do not need to quarantine. However, you must follow precautionary measures for 10 full days after your last close contact with someone with COVID-19.

Yes. You need to wear a well-fitted mask any time you are around others inside your residence or in public for 10 days following your exposure.
Do not go to places where you are unable to wear a mask. This includes eating in public spaces. Students with a meal plan must access To-Go dining only.

Yes. You need to watch for symptoms.
Complete a daily symptom check for 10 days after your last exposure.

If you develop symptoms, isolate immediately and get tested. Continue to stay home until you know the results. Wear a well-fitted mask around others.

Not Up To Date COVID-19 Vaccination Status or Unvaccinated

Yes. You need to remain in your designated quarantine location for a minimum of 5 full days after you last had close contact with someone with COVID-19 and follow precautionary measures for 10 full days after your last close contact.

Access to public spaces while in quarantine are limited to To-Go dining for students with a meal plan and to seek medical care.

Yes. Wear a well-fitted mask for 10 full days (this includes your 5 day quarantine period) any time you are around others.
